武宮秀鵬「草を喰むコブ牛 インドにて」　Shuho TAKEMIYA "IN INDIA"

来年は丑年だからか、昨日の美術商の交換会では牛の彫刻が多かった。寝そべる牛、童と牛、木の牛、銅の牛、ガラスの牛など。1週間ほど前に行った日本美術院展同人の番場三雄さんの個展では牛とヤクに四方を囲まれ圧倒された。悠々としてていいですね

The year 2021 is that of the Ox, so there were a lot of sculptures of cow at the art auction yesterday. Lying down, being with a child, the materials were wood, bronze, glass and so on. At the solo exhibition of Artist Mitsuo BANBA, a Donin of Nihon Bijutsuin, last week I was overwhelmed by the cows and yaks on the four walls of the gallery. Extremely quiet and calm !!!
