書棚の整理をしていたら、ヴァンジの作品集が出てきた。

２００２年に開館した彼の彫刻庭園美術館を当時関わっていた美術雑誌で紹介。その後、出張でフィレンツェに行った際、とても寒い日、仕事後、夕刻の薄暗い街を歩きまわって彼の作品集を見つけた。帰国時のスーツケースがずっしり重かったことが懐かしい。こんな作家そうそういない

I have found the catalogues of Giuliano Vangi on my bookshelves.

I remember that the art magazine I was related to presented his sculpture garden museum in 2002. Some years later, when I went to Firenze, I finally had found his catalogues after walking about the city in the twilight after job. It was very cold and wet that day. I miss that my suitcase was so heavy on my way back to Japan. There is hardly such an artist.
